Hedging Future Bet
We gave out Connecticut at 25-1 amongst our 5 futures picks back on March 6. Question asked: should you hedge it? The key to that is the likely implied moneyline value of UConn to win now versus value of selling that futures ticket or hedging (by betting other side $line). You can currently sell that futures ticket at 12 to 1 or better. I think that payout is better than their current -125 odds to win the title, because I put their future odds at +150 to win the title (4 out of the 6 teams to come into the Final 4 blowing out their first 4 tourney opponents did not win the title.)
