• We've had an up-and-down past few days, but in sports betting some days are just better than others. You're going to have some really good days, and you're also gonna have some pretty tough days. It's the "Nature of the Beast" when you're dealing with something with such high variance. This seems like a good time to talk about reducing "Unit" sizes if you're in the middle of a rough run. If you're consistently gambling on sports, you ARE going to have some bad streaks where it feels like you can't win ANYTHING!! The key is being able to notice that you're in the middle of a "rough patch", and maintain discipline until you come out of it. A LOT of folks will panic when they hit a bad streak. Raising their "Unit" sizes, and trying to make-up for what they've lost too quickly. Throwing good money after bad, and often making a bad situation worse. Most will drain their accounts, and when the "Gambling Gods" turn in their favor, they have no money left to wager. Instead of raising your "Unit" sizes when you're running bad.... Reduce them. Try to recoup some of those losses a little bit at a time, and when it turns around, you can bump back up to your normal "Unit" size. The key to being successful at sports betting is consistency, and making sure you're able to bet when you want. You can't win if you can't play, and "Scared" money can't win either. Sure, it's GREAT to hit those big payouts, but it's not a sustainable model over time. You want to try and grow your account a little bit each day, while minimizing your losses when times are tough. We'll turn it around, we ALWAYS do. In the meantime, you may want to, either, lay off the picks altogether or reduce your "Unit" sizing until we see a profitable turnaround. I apologize for the rough couple days, and I'm gonna do EVERYTHING I can to get us headed back in the right direction!!
